Our client, a growing engineering business who build rotating mechanical equipment, is looking to recruit a role in their South Yorkshire site as a Mechanical Assembler. With well equipped manufacturing capability they are ramping up production to supply far greater volume to their existing customer base. To suit this role as a Mechanical Assembler you need to have a mechanical engineering qualification and previous experience of building rotating equipment.
Mechanical Assembler – The Role – Precision Engineering / Mechanical Assembly / Rotating Equipment / Mechanical Fitter
* Manage your own workload in a small highly trained team of mechanical engineers in a hands-on Fitter role
* Working on the shop floor with the team in the workshop building and assembling rotational equipment
* Working with the team to develop strong health and safety as well as quality standards
* This is a hands-on role and requires a Mechanical Assembler / Fitter with previous knowledge of rotating equipment
Mechanical Assembler – The Person – Precision Engineering / Mechanical Assembly / Rotating Equipment / Mechanical Fitter
* Experience building rotating equipment
* A strong hands-on working knowledge of industrial engineering principles
* Can read and interpret Engineering drawings
* Follow set procedures and guidelines with good attention to detail
