Our growing West Yorkshire based client is going through a period of sustained growth and looking to appoint a materials handler who has experience with both fork lift trucks and operating over head cranes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the goods once they arrive at site and have full responsibility to unpack the products and safely store them.
Our client is a family run business who not only offer a fanatic package and long term development but the successful candidate will work 9 days in 10 which is equivalent to having an additional 24 days holiday per year.
Materials Handler / Stores / FLT / Fork lift truck / Overhead Crane / Goods in/out
Key Accountabilities:
Work under pressure.
Replenishing consumable items
Arrange collection of faulty equipment with supplier.
Delivery & collection of stock to other sites.
Identify & investigate causes of stock discrepancies and communicate correctly.
Maintain a safe working environment
Transfer products in a manual van to a warehouse (if needed)
Drive a FLT
Work an overhead crane
Adhere to a high level of health and safety
Completing weekly stock checks.

Knowledge, Qualifications, Experience and Skills (Competencies)
Full driving license is required
Ability to work on own initiative and communicate at all levels
Excellent attention to detail, quality and accuracy Essential
Methodical and thorough approach to work
Strong numerical skills
Fork Lift Truck License
Over head Crane experience
