Marketing and Bid Assistant

The role

Do you have marketing or bid experience and have previously worked in the recruitment industry or a closely related B2B market?

This is proactive and dynamic role, to assist with the execution and bid strategy and deliver the marketing and communication needs of Futures, a thriving and rapidly expanding recruitment business. As Marketing and Bid Assistant you will support both the Marketing Manager with marketing activity and campaigns and the Bid Writer with bid strategy for getting onto new frameworks. You will work to support sales to new and existing clients, bring in new roles to fill, and work closely with Consultants to bring in new and high quality candidates to place.

Key responsibilities of Marketing and Bid Assistant

Assist with tender and bid preparation, and post tender marketing activity.
Contribute to a bid knowledge library and undertake periodic reviews to ensure all content is up to date and applicable
Work closely with internal teams to help in the preparation of tenders and post-contracting information.
Market research and analysis of specific business development & marketing projects and reporting on current trends and competitor activity.
Assist implementation of marketing plan, including social media content creation and posting.
Assist with email marketing and formatting mailers to go out to both candidates and clients with an aim to improve open rate and click through rate.
Monthly performance reporting on job boards, social media content and mailers.
Assist with the planning and execution of online and offline marketing campaigns.
Research and assist with content writing/blogs/vlogs for a range of channels.
Preparation of internal newsletters and other internal/external communications as required
Updating the team on relevant industry networking/Business development events
Take an active role in the regular maintenance and data validation of information on our CRM system to ensure information remains reliable.
Other ad-hoc marketing, bid development, and administrative duties.

What will the Marketing and Bid Assistant bring to the table?

Ability to work efficiently and effectively both in a team and on their own
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines
Experience in Marketing
A positive, professional and motivated approach with ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and environment
A high level of attention to detail
Good knowledge of social media channels and tracking
Strong written skills including proof reading and copywriting
