Futures are looking to appoint Skilled and experienced Manual and CNC Machinists.
Our client who is a leading manufacturer of special purpose machinery is expanding and they are looking for skilled and experienced apprentice trained or time served machinist who are used to operating, setting and part programming of CNC and Manual millers, lathes and borers, you will be machining 1 offs and specials in their machine shop.
The work will be mainly Turning and Milling working with Engineering drawings.
The hours are 37 spread over 4 days or nights per week between Monday and Thursday with Friday being overtime when worked.
Machinist/Turner/Miller/Borer/Machining
Role:
Production of components to drawings
Monitor and request tooling when required
Ensure a clean and safe working area
Occasional assistance in the fitting shop.
Skills and Experience
Apprentice-trained in Mechanical Engineering
Able to use a wide range of measuring instruments
Able to use the most common conventional machines in a M/C shop environment
Machinist/Turner/Miller/Borer/Machining/Centre Lathe
