About the role

Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) | West Bromwich | £38k – £40k |

Here at Futures, we are currently supporting a leading FMCG business based in the West Midlands. The business is continuously growing and would like to hire an experienced maintenance engineer, to join their team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, a Maintenance Engineer will take responsibility for both proactive and reactive maintenance duties within a fast-paced production environment.

Key Duties of a Maintenance Engineer:
• Carrying out fault-finding diagnoses/repairs on equipment and plant
• Ensuring PPM schedules are maintained in accordance with current requirements
• Continous Improvement
• Daily Plant Inspections, monitoring plant performance
• Facilitating a speedy response to all plant stoppages and planning/implementing modifications to new and existing equipment

Successful Maintenance Engineers will be/have:
• Time Served Apprenticeship in an engineering discipline, holding an Electrical Engineering NVQ / NHD / HNC / C&G Level 3 qualification or higher.
• Previous Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing setting
• Excellent Communication Skills
