About the role

Our client is a manufacturer in Bradford. Due to expansion they are looking for a skilled and experienced apprentice trained or time served machinist who is used to operating, setting and part programming of CNC millers to complete 1 offs and specials in their machine shop. The work will be mainly Milling, with some boring, with a bigger focus on milling. Experience of Fanuc controls is required.

Machinist – Role and Responsibilities – Miller / Borer / Machining / Precision Engineering

* Production of components to drawings
* Monitor ad request tooling when required
* Ensure a clean and safe working area
* Occasional assistance in the fitting shop

Machinist – Skills and Experience – Miller / Borer / Machining / Precision Engineering

* Apprentice-trained in Mechanical Engineering
* Able to use a wide range of measuring instruments
* Able to use the most common conventional machines in a M/C shop environment
* Programming and experience of Fanuc controls
