About the role


Manufacturing Futures seek to appoint a Key Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of key accounts for a market leading engineering business. As Key Account Manager you will have responsibility for all key accounts within the Cambridge area and will manage those relationships through multiple stakeholders to ensure sales volumes rise and excellent customer service is always delivered. You will be joining a successful and expanding business where you are empowered to make the decisions that drive value for customers and are rewarded for developing innovative solutions. It is important that you have managed large accounts in your career to date, supplying a premium or branded range of products.

Key Account Manager – Role and Responsibilities – Customer Support / Sales Support / Business Development

* Manage a portfolio of accounts, providing solutions and resolving conflict in a timely manner, to achieve long term success
* Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
* Act as the key point of contact to handle customers individual needs
* Set, track and report on sales account targets and sales metrics

Key Account Manager – Skills and Abilities – Customer Support / Sales Support / Business Development / Branded

* Must be used to working within a team, be comfortable with performance measurement and achieving targets
* Ability to identify customers critical business needs and ability to satisfy them
* Brilliant communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to spot business opportunities and act on them
* Full clean driving license
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and other IT systems
