We’re seeking an experienced IT professional to join one of Europe’s leading Manufacturers in the Home Heating and Renewable Energy market as an IT Manager!
The company is looking to enhance their Technology capabilities with the appointment of an IT manager to oversee the company’s computer and information systems.
You will manage, and coordinate activities related to hardware, software, and network systems across the organization, working out of a base in West Yorkshire but servicing users across the UK and Europe.
We are seeking a proven track record in project delivery, someone who can utilise Project Management software, report effectively to the CTO and produce first-class project documentation.
Your Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct routine evaluations of network and data security.
– Identify and capitalise on opportunities to enhance and update software and systems.
– Develop and implement the organisation’s IT policies and best practices.
– Create and deliver workshops and training programs for staff.
– Perform regular system audits to ensure efficiency and compliance.
– Generate routine system operations reports and share insights with senior management.
– Organise and set timelines for significant IT projects, including system updates, migrations, upgrades, and outages.
– Manage and report on the allocation of the IT budget.
– Provide guidance and leadership to the IT team.
Your Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
– Experience in managing projects from start to finish, focusing on planning, execution, and risk management.
– Proficiency in documenting system processes and procedures.
– Familiarity with BS/ISO27001 processes.
– Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Dynamics NAV 2016 to 2018 or D365 Business Central.
– Proficiency in PowerShell for automation, with software development skills as a bonus.
– Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking.
– Experience with Azure, Intune, Office365, DevOps, and SharePoint Administration.
– Competence in Power BI, with an understanding of databases and data modelling.
– Minimum of 5 years in an IT Manager role.
Salary and Benefits:
– £60,000 – £80,000, subject to experience and capability.
– 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.

– Hybrid working – 2 days working from home, 3 at the Wakefield HQ.
The business is seeking ISO 27001 accreditation so some prior knowledge of this (and general IT Security measures) would also be very welcome.
