About the role

Successful International group manufacturing for the Oil, Gas and Process industries is looking to strengthen their internal sales team with the appointment of an additional Sales Engineer. Ideally with an engineering qualification and essentially with a proven track record, your role will be as follows:

Internal Sales/Sales/Valves/Sales Engineer/Sales Advisor
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop an excellent customer relationship through the provision of an outstanding quality service
Provide and sell product information, pricing, special offers and promotions and be able to negotiate them
Advising customer on a technical level with regards to the product range manufactured.
Contacting clients by phone to negotiate terms of an agreement and conclude sales;
Gathering market and customer information;
Negotiating variations in price, delivery and specifications
Reviewing own sales performance;
Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements;

Liaison with other teams to ensure good communication
Listening to customers, identifying, meeting and anticipating their needs.
Initiative to take the lead,
Adaptability to change in internal and external workings
Works effectively in pressured situations
Comfortable in a fast paced environment
Maintains a positive attitude
Results orientated
Good Influencer

Technical Skills Required:
Computer literate
Knowledge of MS Office
Understanding of the internet and on line applications

Personal Skills Required:
Must have good written and verbal communication skills
Experience of Engineering sales
Ability plan and prioritise tasks
Ability to work effectively in a team and autonomously
A passion for detail
Flexible and creative
