Interim Major Works Regeneration Project Manager

One of our Local Authority clients in London is looking for an interim Regeneration Project Manager to assist in the delivery of a Major Refurbishment Programme.
The Role of Regeneration Project Manager:

The programme has been divided into 6 projects based on the complexity of work. The project is currently at concept stage and the procurement of a Technical team for services 0 – 7 of the RIBA stages is soon to be taking place. The current approved budget is for up to £60M which is made up of a grant by the MHCLG and the council.

Responsibilities of Regeneration Project Manager:

Participate in the evaluation of consultants and contractor tenders with residents.
Manage, monitor and direct Technical teams to ensure the scope of works/ specifications/ meet with resident priorities and Client briefs.
Work with the Programme Manager to complete fee tender documents for procurement.
Lead design team meetings and ensure issues are resolved satisfactorily
Attend anticipated extensive and sensitive resident/ leaseholder/ board meetings
Ensure consultation is being undertaken throughout the development of the scheme and provide clear written information at relevant stages.
Investigate and respond to resident/ leaseholder and member enquiries/ issues.

Requirements for Regeneration Project Manager:

Experience in delivering major works from inception to completion in a Local Authority Environment to budgets in excess of £10M.
Experience in delivering projects to set timescales, budget, quality and high resident satisfaction.
Experience in resident and leaseholder engagement
Ability to write reports, work self-sufficiently with minimum direction and manage an individual workload.
