Night Shift – 22:00 – 06:00
We are currently working with a client based in Lancashire who is seeking an experienced full-time Injection Moulding Setter to work their night shift!
You will be primarily responsible for the trial and optimisation of the moulding process to meet the needs of production.
Your Duties:
– To set and operate an injection moulding machine.
– Ensure all customer orders are processed through the operation of the production plan on a right-first-time basis.
– Maintain accurate communication records and log all production issues.
– Strive for continuous improvement of the process and the cell KPI performance – machine availability, cycle speed efficiency and scrap levels.
– Continually look to improve the operation and assist in cost-saving initiatives.
When required, support flexible hours working to meet the demand of short lead times and high trial demand periods. In times of high demand, shift work may be required up to a maximum of one month in any one period.
Your Skills and Experience:
– Extensive Injection Moulding experience.
– Conducting safe and efficient tool changes.
– Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Techniques.
– Excellent problem-solving skills.
– Strong team worker.
– Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
