We have an exciting opportunity available for a leading food manufacturer.
Here at Futures, we are looking for a Hygiene Manager due to continued growth and expansion of the company.
***DAYS BASED – MONDAY TO FRIDAY ROLE****
Reporting into the Technical Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the factory, both environmentally and equipment are cleaned in accordance with the schedules and to the correct standard. You will ensure efficient and effective delivery of hygiene across the site to ensure compliance with business, customer and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities;
Work with their team and other departments to attain the required hygiene standard
Managing and providing training for the teams.
ensuring that relevant documentation is up to date, that the correct cleaning chemicals, materials and equipment is available, that a full and up to date COSHH inventory list of hygiene chemicals is maintained and that all accidents are recorded and reported to the Health and Safety Manager
Investigate non-conformances and ensure that corrective actions are taken
Be the site expert in use of cleaning processes, procedures and good manufacturing practice (GMP) standards to achieve best practice
Actively involved in customer audits including unannounced retailer audits
Successful candidates will be;
Previous experience of working within a FMCG food manufacturing environment
Knowledge of hygiene from either a Hygiene or Production background.
Excellent people management skills proven ability to lead and develop teams, coach and mentor team members
Experience in customer audits and visits in relation to Hygiene
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a high standard of organizational skills
