HSE Manager Role | Sheffield | £50,000 – £65,000
Futures have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HSE Manager on behalf of a leading, global, billion £ food manufacturer that is well-known in the market for their great tasting products!

Reporting to the Site Director and sitting on the Senior Leadership team you will oversee the HSE for a 1000+ employee site as well as manage 2 HSE Officers.
As an HSE Manager, you will be responsible for:
– The development of Health, Safety & Environmental standards and ensuring that these are embedded within the site
– Setting the strategic framework for the management of these standards and for defining and delivering against objectives that enable both the achievement of these standards and continuous improvement
– Provide guidance and advice to the senior team to ensure that the site complies with statutory obligations and best practice
– Make recommendations, propose options and develop implementation plans to ensure that the site maintains compliance in all areas of SHE
– Communicate to and influence the senior management team across Operations, Quality and Finance
What are we looking for?
– A minimum of 5 years experience as an HSE Manager within food manufacturing
– Experience sitting on the Senior Leadership team and being involved with key business decisions
– NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
– Experience in driving a safety culture through all levels of an organisation
– Experience in strategic planning, implementing projects, developing partnerships
