We have an exciting opportunity available for a leading FMCG manufacturing business based in West Yorkshire. Here at Futures, we are looking for an experienced HR Manager due to continued growth and expansion of the company.
Reporting into the HR Director you will be responsible for the consistent and effective management of site HR activities, you will provide support to the development and delivery of the HR strategy at the distribution centre.
HR Manager responsibilities:
Ensure all areas of production have a great team of people behind it through effective recruitment.
Provide regular reports on people’s KPI’s to relevant managers
Give guidance and coaching to management teams to empower all managers to make effective people decisions
Discipline and grievance and performance management issues
Ensuring a safe working environment.
Providing specific support to all staff in terms of staff management issue resolution
Interaction with HR staff within the company and external organisations e.g. labour providers, local industry links etc
HR Management Requirements:
Charted Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) qualified
Generalist HR advisory experience within a manufacturing environment
Comprehensive employment law knowledge
Proven interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
Coaching and facilitation skills
Experience of working with Trade Unions (desirable)
Excellent organisation and administrative skills
IT literate – Good experience of MS Office and HR databases
