We have an exciting opportunity available for a leading, niche manufacturing business. Here at Futures, we are looking for a Health and Safety Advisor due to continued growth and expansion of the company.
Reporting into the Health, Safety & Environmental Manager you will be responsible for providing high levels of Health & Safety admin / hands on support to the HSE Manager, and to ensure the site maintains its high levels of health and safety awareness.
Key responsibilities;
Maintaining a high level of knowledge and expertise in all areas of Compliance in order to provide appropriate advice and support.
To provide H&S reporting to agreed deadlines
Providing managers and employees with information on legislative and corporate compliance, advising on ways of meeting statutory requirements and Corporate HS&E Policies, HSE guidance and codes of practice
To ensure that risk assessments/safe systems of work requirements are met
Proactively work with other areas of the business to develop SHE culture
Conduct monthly safety audits, behavioral observations and quarterly safety inspections
Successful Health Safety Advisor will be;
Previous experience of working within a Manufacturing/Engineering/FMCG environment
Experience supporting an Health & Safety Manager
Excellent organisational skills
Strong Admin skills
Ability to problem solve and think outside of the box
