About the role

Manufacturing Futures is looking to appoint a Graduate Metallurgist to work in a company where they can grow and develop their skill set. The ideal candidate will be Degree educated (as a minimum) and ideally have 1 years industry experience in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering. The role is very hands on so experience with machinery is advantageous.

Graduate Metallurgist / Chemical Engineer/ / Furnace Operator / Pyrometallurgy / Hyrdometallurgy / R&D

Key responsibilities:
Develop and improve pyrometallurgical, hydrometallurgical, thermal and concentration processes in conjunction with customers, internal departments and external technology suppliers
Willing to do hands on Metallurgy
Ability to manage R&D Projects
Innovation and creativity to deliver business objectives
Identify key technical work required for business development and improvement and lead the projects through to completion
Generate and review project documents generated by wider teams
Monitor and analyse operational processes and data, supporting resolution of issues, participating in root cause analysis of incidents that occurs.
Provide technical expertise including developing process flow diagrams, conducting trials on new equipment and collecting data for design
Demonstrate leadership in EHS and contributes to all required aspects of safety reviews within the business

1 Years Minimum industry experience
A Degree (Masters preferably) in Metallurgical Engineering or relevant Science discipline with extensive hands on practical, experience
