Futures Manufacturing are looking to appoint a skilled Fitter Machinist
This is a full time permanent position working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 8.00am to 4.30pm
Fitter/Turner/Miller/CNC/Pumps/Rotating/Seals/G-Code/Mechanical/Hurco/Conventional/CAD/CAM
We are looking for an experienced Fitter Turner to join a team and run the manual and CNC milling and turning machines.
Your role will involve fitting, assembling, grinding and shaping metal parts and subassemblies to fabricate mechanical seals and pumps.
High levels of attention to detail are essential, as is the ability to read engineering drawings and use manual measuring equipment to check your own work.
Job Skills required:
Manual Machining.
Running CNC machinery
Keen attention to detail
Problem solving skills and math skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Able to use precision measuring instruments.
Knowledge of conversational programming
Good knowledge of G-code
Knowledge of Hurco
Understanding of CAD/CAM
Fitter/Turner/Miller/CNC/Pumps/Rotating/Seals/G-Code/Mechanical/Hurco/Conventional/CAD/CAM
The Person
Experience with hands on mechanical assembly would be advantageous.
Excellent communication skills
Pro-active approach and the ability to learn new skills.
Full clean UK driving license would be advantageous
A keen interest in practical, hands-on activities.

Additional:
Probationary period of 3 months apply
20 days holiday plus bank holidays for the first year increasing to 21 days holiday in the second year.
