Field Service Engineer | Bristol | £35,000 – £45,000 + Overtime
Field Service Engineer required with previous experience of working on vehicles, mainly HGV’s, along the M4 corridor (Greater London and South Wales). Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer who has worked on HGVs or other vehicles, has excellent mechanical and electrical servicing skills and can fault find on automotive systems? Field Service Engineer – Role and responsibilities
• Attend customer sites to diagnose and repair faults
• Attend customer sites to carry out scheduled maintenance
• Warranty and campaign work on site
• Upkeep of all associated documentation
• Validation and development of vehicles’ mechanical and electrical systems
Field Service Engineer – Skills and Abilities
• Relevant experience as an automotive service engineer
• Experience servicing a range of vehicles (preferably HGV’s)
• Good knowledge of engines, drivetrains
• Knowledge and understanding of 24v vehicle wiring systems and practices
• Understanding of CAN networks and diagnostics
