An excellent opportunity has arisen for nationally recognized food manufacturer with a superb reputation.
Due to continued success our client are looking to recruit an experienced Field Service Engineer / Catering Engineer who will be tasked with carrying out preventative, routine and emergency maintenance to equipment within the food shops.
You will be required to cover Bath, and surrounding areas.
You will report directly to the Area Maintenance Manager, working alongside and supporting a successful shop maintenance team. You will ensure that all on-site electrical and mechanical equipment is working and running as efficiently as possible. Duties include carrying out regular maintenance and general day to day repair of shop equipment. You will carry out any modifications that are required, general modifications in order to ensure that machine downtime is kept to a minimum whilst repairs are carried out.

You will also need to have previous experience with electrical and mechanical repairs, installations, fault finding, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement. The Field Service Engineer / Catering Engineer will have fantastic communication skills and the and have an excellent attention to detail. It is essential that you have the ability to multi task and be able to manage a busy workload.
This role would suit a Field Service Engineer / Catering Engineer with previous experience maintaining machinery within a food shop, or a Maintenance Engineer/Multi Skilled Engineer/Maintenance Electrician who has experience working within a food manufacturing environment looking to move into a field based position. This role would require a flexible approach, and the ability to also work some weekends.
