Here at Futures we are pleased to support a nationally recognized manufacturing business located in county of Forfar.
Due to extensive growth, the business is on a lookout for an experienced Engineering Planner, to provide support to the sites Engineering Team.
Reporting to an Engineering Manager, you will take responsibility for delivery of effective, customer-focused administrative support to the Engineering Team. Ensuring Engineering data is captured accurately and timely allowing the Engineering Manager to analyze the data in order to identify improvements opportunities. Working against specific Engineering KPI’s set for the site, including Engineering SLA’s (Service-Level agreements) set by the Engineering Manager
Key Responsibilities:
– Keep all paperwork and electronic files up to date
– Maintain / Develop the engineer system front line
– Order spare parts, process delivery notes and invoice match
– Collect Delivery from security and scan parts to engineer store
– Manage the store area, maintain minimum stock levels, issue spares during the day and implement a system to issue stock out of hours while maintaining control.
– Assisting and directing visitors
– Creating training documentation and give training to staff e.g. (PPM and user manuals)
– Issue daily/ weekly/ monthly PPM’s to engineers, ensuring that we utilize available machine downtime effectively to complete he PM’s.
Successful Engineering Planner will have:
– Very Strong admin experience
– Engineering Knowledge (desirable)
– Experience of understanding different systems
– Strong Excel Skills
– Great attention to detail
– Able to communicate effectively with different people
– Time Management
– Organizational Skills
