Futures Manufacturing is looking to appoint and engineering manager who has a strong background in lean manufacturing. Our client is a global business that distribute on a world wide basis to a number of sectors. The ideal candidate is someone who can make the role their own and implement new and effective procedures to improve people, machinery and processes.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Implement a new PPM schedule
Ensure the maintenance side of the site is running smoothly and at maximum efficiency
Carry out maintenance work as and when needed
Manage maintenance staff within the business ensuring you are getting the most from each individual
Implement process improvements
Look at cost reduction and maximising resources
Implement and understand continuous improvement
Carry out weekly meeting and regular talks with the maintenance team

Experience of getting the best of people
Strong ICT skills
HND/HNC in engineering
Strong awareness of health and safety
Methodical in the approach to process improvements.
Ideally experience with lean manufacturing
At least 3 years management experience within a manufacturing environment
