Manufacturing Futures is looking to appoint an Engineering Manager for a business going through a period of sustained growth, renowned for their staff retention and development of employees. The successful candidate must oversee and manage people, machinery and processes in order to improve the business.
The ideal candidates is someone who can come in, hit the ground running and meet all the production requirements including machinery and tooling.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Manage maintenance staff within the business ensuring you are getting the most from each individual
Implement process improvements
Look at cost reduction and maximising resources
Carry out weekly meeting and regular talks with the maintenance team
Implement a new PPM schedule
Ensure the maintenance side of the site is running smoothly and at maximum efficiency
Carry out maintenance work as and when needed
Engineering Manager / Engineering / Maintenance Manager / Manufacturing / Lean / Six Sigma / PPM
At least 3 years management experience within a manufacturing environment
Experience of getting the best of people
Strong ICT skills
HND/HNC in engineering
Methodical in the approach to process improvements.
Ideally experience with lean manufacturing (A six sigma belt is highly advantageous)
