Our client is a manufacturer of special purpose machinery, due to retirement they are looking for a Manual Machinist to do 1 offs and specials in their machine shop. The work will be mainly Turning and Milling.
The hours are 37 per week between Monday and Thursday with Friday being overtime when worked.
Machinist/Turner/Miller/Borer/Machining
Role:
Production of components to drawings
Monitor ad request tooling when required
Ensure a clean and safe working area
Occasional assistance in the fitting shop.
Skills and Experience
Apprentice-trained in Mechanical Engineering
Able to use a wide range of measuring instruments
Able to use the most common conventional machines in a M/C shop environment
Machinist/Turner/Miller/Borer/Machining/Centre Lathe
