This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced embedded software engineer to join a growing innovative company. Our client is a West Yorkshire-based manufacturer of cutting-edge technology for various industries. You will be responsible for making improvements and upgrades on new and existing products as well as developing products from first principles.
Embedded Software Engineer – The Role
• Design and development of embedded firmware/software systems and analogue electronics systems
• Analysis of embedded and analogue system approaches to inform and back up multifunctional design decisions
• Development of appropriate test plans
• Development of manufacturing drawings, packs and bill of materials
• Engage with customers and suppliers in order to deliver a high-quality product
• Construct prototypes and where required carry out diagnostic work to troubleshoot product development,
Embedded Software Engineer – The Person
• A minimum of a 2:1 in a related discipline
• At least 3 years experience in an embedded software role
• An excellent understanding of C, C++, C# and Python
