Futures are currently working with a global leader who design and manufacture cutting edge electronics products. Due to continued growth they are looking to appoint a new Embedded Software Engineer who has a relevant degree qualification alongside at least 12 months experience in a embedded software role in industry. As embedded software engineer you will work predominantly in embedded C for our client based just outside of Leeds. The main purpose of the role is to design and develop firmware for testing and for end products as well as the design and development of software and hardware for both internal and external use. You would be joining an extremely talented team of likeminded engineers and you will be given the opportunity to take part in an industry leading training programme depending on the level you are currently at. Embedded Software Engineer – Skills & Abilities – Firmware / C / C++ / Electronics / Computer Science / RTOS / Software
* Degree qualified in Electronics, Electrical & Electronic Engineering or Computer Science (STEM subjects will be considered depending on industry experience)
* Proficient in C with real world industry experience
* Experience with Microcontrollers / Microprocessors
* RTOS software experience would be ideal
