Our client is a forward-thinking business working with cutting edge technology, looking to appoint an Embedded Software Engineer in Leeds!
They supply to a range of industries operating on a global basis. As part of a global team you will partner with international businesses and aim to deliver upgrades and improvements on existing products in embedded C. This is an exciting opportunity to join an excellent team with continuous product development of a market leading technology.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
– Used to regularly liaising with mechanical, electronics and test engineers
– A clear communicator able to explain concepts and development life cycles to those that are non-technical
– Used to products with streaming data, real time analytics and datasets
– Disseminate and catalogue test results and marry evidential data to standard requirements.
– Continually seek improvement opportunities
Your Skills and Abilities:
– Qualified HNC/D level or higher Embedded Engineering
– Proficient in embedded C/C++ with at least three years proven industry experience
– Experience with Microcontrollers /Microprocessors, working with software and hardware teams to develop platform, interfaces and in-house test systems
– Proven project documentation, product specification and technical writing skills
– Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail
