Our client, a growing electronic manufacturing business in North Yorkshire, seeks to appoint a low-level Embedded Linux Engineer. The role is purely Linux focused but an appreciation for embedded software/firmware for electronics hardware would be beneficial. Embedded Linux Engineer – Skills & Abilities – Embedded Linux
* Embedded Linux experience including writing low-level device drivers (Debian preference)
* Some experience with embedded C (Typically on ARM in Rowley) would be helpful.
* Strong mathematical skills and an understanding of electronics and schematics are advantageous
* Experience with CAN and TCP/IP is of significant benefit
* Other Linux experience (server-side admin skills) is beneficial
