Our client, an expanding manufacturing business, seek to appoint an Electronics Technician to support the team with assembling circuits, building and modifying prototypes and testing products!
You’ll be joining a market leader with a talented electronics team. You must have an electrical/electronic engineering qualification, experience working for an electronics manufacturer, and good communication skills.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
* Provide technician support for the electronic engineering and production teams
* Diagnose, investigate and repair controller faults
* Conduct performance, thermal and EMC tests of controllers
* Evaluate new and alternative electronic components
* Assist with the production of controllers as required
Your Skills and Abilities:
* A recognised technological qualification (electrical and electrical engineering preferred)
* Experience working for an electronics manufacturing business in an engineering focused role
* Ability to understand electronic circuit schematics and the basic function of standard components
* Ability to fault find, repair and test controllers
* A clear communicator able to multi-task to contribute to a diverse engineering team
