We are representing one of the most recognised businesses based in the North West who are seeking an test engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing a range of electrical equipment, diagnosing any problems and ensuring the products are safe and ultimately fit for purpose.
Electronics Evaluation Engineer Role and Responsibilities Electronic Engineer, Test, , Diagnostics, Consumer Goods
Evaluating and testing consumer electrical goods to determine safety, compliance, functionality and reliability. Evaluating products, which are being considered through our product selection and procurement process. You will liaise with manufacturers in Europe and the Far East to communicate your findings and any improvements you determine are necessary. Undertaking a suitability assessment of products and producing a report with the outcomes.
Provide specialised technical assistance to the Product department, including testing existing and newly planned products
Liaise with all internal departments, in particular: Contact Centre, Returns, Product and Stores in relation to customer orders
Appliance Test Engineer Skills and Abilities Electronic Engineer, Test, Diagnostics, Consumer Goods
Recognised qualification within electrical or electronic engineering (or equivalent) preferred (C&G 224 Electronics Servicing, HNC, etc)
Ability to diagnose and test to component level on a wide variety of electronic equipment (audio, video, IT, etc)
Excellent communicator with good spoken English and interpersonal skills
Ability to be flexible and adapt to quickly changing priorities
