Manufacturing Futures are working with a successful electronics business that is looking to appoint an Electronic Design Engineer. The appointed Electronic Design Engineer will be experienced within electronics hardware design and comfortable interacting with project managers, mechanical engineers and software engineers on multi-faceted projects.

Electronic Design Engineer – Role & Responsibilities – Electronic Engineering / Hardware / PCB / Circuit Design
– Manage multiple projects including new design and rework/modification
– Efficiently work to deadlines and guarantee delivery on company deadlines
– Varied role encompassing all aspects of hardware engineering including PCB schematics, layout design, circuit design and test engineering
– Liaise with sub-contractors and suppliers
– Liaise with other members of the engineering team and direct junior members of staff
– Participate on reviews of design work (both your own work and that of colleagues)
Electronic Design Engineer – Skills & Abilities – Electronic Engineering / Hardware / PCB / Circuit Design
– A relevant qualification in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (or similar)
– Proficient in the use of PCB schematic capture and layout software
– Experience of drawing and sketching diagrams
– Experience with typical engineering software
