They are looking for an Electronic Design Engineer with rounded hardware experience (PCB design and layout, electronic circuits, microprocessors, test and prototyping) to join their development facility in Leeds. As Electronic Design Engineer you’ll be creating new products from cradle to grave for a great customer base, working on one or two major projects at once. No two days will be the same, and you’ll be solving R&D problems alongside other design engineers. To succeed in this role you need to be comfortable designing new products and have the experience to work your way through (and sometimes around!) engineering problems as they arise to get your project completed on time and to budget. * Ability to develop a strong working relationship in this customer facing role with both your internal and external stakeholders
* Excellent communication skills and well organised
* Able to work to a good technical level, often on your own initiative with limited supervision
* Degree in Electronics/Electronic Engineering/Computing, or equivalent is preferred
* New product inception, definition and design
