Our client is a designer and manufacturer of electronics technology looking to appoint an Electronic Design Engineer to join the existing well established design team. Their team are largely long servers with excellent product knowledge and work independently on projects largely in isolation. With new orders already obtained for the next few years this company have to expand their engineering team with an additional Electronic Design Engineer to cope with the enhanced and still growing workload. it is most important that you can run a design and development project from start to finish with minimal supervision. This is a standalone role for an electronics generalist comfortable with most aspects of hardware design.
Reporting in to the Engineering Manager you will work on one or occasionally two projects that typically take between six and eighteen months from start to finish. Good time management skills are essential for the successful Electronic Design Engineer. You will be part of an experienced team with a positive working environment and the scope to take charge of your own projects and develop your career.
