About the role


Our client, a leading FMCG manufacturer, seek to appoint an Electro-Mechanical Technician to their engineering team. Working permanent days, reporting in to the Maintenance Manager, the appointed Electro-Mechanical Technician will work closely with the production department to increase OEE, respond to breakdowns as and when they occur, and make suggestions for continuous improvement. Electro-Mechanical Technician – Role & Responsibilities – Maintenance Engineer

– Respond to breakdowns
– Carry out PPMs and organised maintenance activity
– Carry our continuous improvement activity
– Understand lean manufacturing principles
– Work to reduce downtime and improve machine capability

Electro-Mechanical Technician – Skills & Abilities – Maintenance Engineer

– Time served or C&G qualified as a minimum
– Electrical bias preferred
– Multiskilled with minimum 10 years experience in a fast moving automated manufacturing environment
– Strong fault finding skills. Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic. PLC fault finding adantageous but not essential
– 24VDC/415/240v control and electrical systems experience
