About the role

Blue wire Mechanical & Electrical Ltd along with our sister company Blue Wire Fire & Security are a rapidly expanding company based in central Leeds specialising in industrial and commercial mechanical & electrical projects of all shape and sizes.

Made up of professional electricians/gas engineers with industry-essential qualifications backed up by years worth of professional experience ensures each project from start to completion is carried out to the highest standards.

Bluewire Mechanical & Electrical Ltd are currently looking for experienced tradesmen as per the title to join the team on a permanent basis. Specialising in all sectors of electrical installation from domestic to commercial and industrial. Carrying out most types of installations, from single phase and three phase power, right through to CCTV, Fire Alarm and data. Also gas, heating and plumbing works from boiler replacements, kitchen/bathroom installs, commercial boiler services to biomass boiler installs and other large scale install/maintenance.
We are also looking for Fire alarm engineers for our various contracts (mainly installation) and maintenance throughout the U.K.

Responsibilities will include:
Carrying out electrical/plumbing/gas installations/maintenance across all different sectors from commercial to residential.
Testing and inspecting under our approved contractor status from installation certs to electrical reporting & gas likewise.
Fire alarm maintenance and installations
Managers positions Organisation contracts on a daily basis for relevant trades.

Person Specification
Qualified to city and guilds 2391 or equivalent, NVQ Level 3 and 18th Edition minimum
Commercial Gas/Gas Safe etc and level 3 plumbing & heating preferable.
Must be competent in all aspects of electrical installations
Knowledge of test and inspection procedures
Must be able to work alone and within a team.
Possess good communication skills and represent the Company in a professional manner, particularly when on customers premises in terms of dress, attitude and work practices.
Fully apprentice trained
Hold a full clean UK driving licence

Full uniform and PPE will be provided, along with a Company van.

This role can be started on a Sub-Contractor basis progressing to full time PAYE ideally Great rates of pay dependent on qualifications and experience. Alternatively 3 months probation on PAYE.

Overtime, weekends and possible working away also available.
