About the role


Here at Futures, we are supporting a Leading FMCG Food manufacturing business based in West Yorkshire in their search for an Electrical Manager!

Due to continuous growth and expansion, with some exciting projects on the horizon, the business is looking for the right individual to support the Engineering department in overseeing Electrical work onsite.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, an Electrical Manager will be responsible for the management and maintenance of the overall standard and quality of electrical work onsite.

Your Key Responsibilities:
– Ensuring all electrical work on site is completed to desired standards and adhering to health and safety at work regulations.
– Overseeing Electrical Installation and Commissioning work onsite.
– Contractors’ management and permit control.
– Ensuring that all LV and HV maintenance is carried out following regulations.
– Ensuring electrical compliance regarding machinery and functional safety to support the factory.
– Act as the contract manager for various electrical 3rd party contracts.

You Will Need:
– Knowledge and experience in PLC systems, preferably Allen Bradley and Schneider.
– Apprentice trained or NVQ Level 4 equivalent in a relevant electrical engineering discipline.
– Demonstrable knowledge/experience working in a manufacturing environment (preferably FMCG).
– Proven track record delivering digitalisation within manufacturing.
– Exposure to TPM, preventive maintenance planning and/or maintenance execution – desired.
