About the role


We are thrilled to be working with a leading food manufacturing business, famously known for their amazing products familiar to people across the world.

The business is currently enjoying an impressive growth spout, and therefore looking to strengthen their Engineering Management sector by appointing an Electrical Manager to oversee the electrical competency onsite!

Reporting into the Factory Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out the duties of a Site Duty Holder whilst ensuring electrical competency and compliance is managed to desired standards.

Your Responsibilities:
– Supervision of Electrical contractors & control panels suppliers.
– Managing Electrical Compliance.
– Managing Project Requirements.
– HV and LV network management.
– Champion to electrical safety on site.
– Acting as a Site Duty Holder.
– Line Management of Automation and MES Engineers.

You will need:
– Minimum 3 years Electrical Engineering experience ideally within a supervisory or management function.
– Experience required in Electricity, Process control, Instrumentation and PLC / HMI programming.
– Experience working within a fast paced Food Manufacturing setting.
– Qualified to a HND or HNC in Electrical Engineer (or equivalent).
– Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineer – Desirable.
