About the role

Food and Drink Futures are currently supporting one of the most technologically advanced manufacturing companies in the South East to help them find a Maintenance Engineer following the retirement of one their team. This company boasts an extremely low staff turnover and after meeting with management and walking round the site, it’s not difficult to see why.

Circa – £42,000 + Package
Monday – Fridays ONLY. Flexible Start/Finish times if required.

The role

The role will consist of working in a small team doing planned and reactive maintenance on a range of production machinery including CNC Machines. You will work closely with production to ensure things like planned maintenance doesnt interfere with the companies production target and you will also oversee two apprentices who will give you as much or as little support as required.

Experience Required

Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment
PLC Fault Finding
CNC Machinery Maintenance
Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment
Thorough understanding of reactive breakdowns and PLC fault finding
Electrical Maintenance Engineer, PLC, Fault Finding, Maintenance Electrician

Qualifications required

17th Edition (Preferred)
Time served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline, holding an Electrical Engineering HND / HNC / BTec / ONC / City and Guilds Level 3 qualifications or higher (desirable)
