Our West Yorkshire based manufacturing client are going through a period of sustained growth and now require an experienced Electrical Engineer with experience of assembling and testing power transformers to join them. As Electrical Engineer you will be involved in the design arrangements & schematics for their products, also site based activities where appropriate, travelling to site to install and service equipment. You’ll be joining an ambitious company with a family feel and a renowned reputation for treating their staff well.
Electrical Engineer – Role and Responsibilities – Power Transformers / Electrical Distribution / Assembly / Fitting / Test / Service
* In-house fitting and assembly of various types of distribution and power transformers
* Ensure that all equipment is assembled and tested to the highest standard
* Ensure all design requirements are met.
Electrical Engineer – Skills and Abilities – Power Transformers / Electrical Distribution / Assembly / Fitting / Test / Service
* Apprentice trained with appropriate engineering qualification
* Hands on experience of working within a mechanical/electrical engineering environment is essential
* Read and understand mechanical and schematic drawings
* Competent user of general workshop machinery and hand tools
