We are currently seeking an Electrical and Controls Engineer for a well-established and sucessful business.The position offers interesting work and some Hybrid/Remote working.
Main Purpose of the role:
To enhance the existing control system department in order to deliver best in class designs and operational excellence to our clients. The role will focus on the hardware and software design of control systems and associated field equipment which will include PLCs, VSDs, Safety circuits and intelligent sensors

The successful candidate should have the following Essential experience:
Experience of Siemens TIA Portal programming
Experience of Electrical control systems Hardware design
Able to use AutoCAD to produce schematics and GA drawings.
Knowledge of variable speed drives
Knowledge of current Health and Safety regulations
Knowledge of current IEE regulations
Nice to have but we can work around it:
Knowledge of the leading PLC/HMI products i.e. Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider
Knowledge of the machineery safety design regulations
PLC/HMI programming
Knowledge control system Instrumentation
