42 hours, PAYE or LTD (outside of IR35)
We are seeking a Design Draughtsman to work onsite at Drax Power Station although not directly for them. The work involves updating all drawings of the plant with modifications that may have been made since original installation and any new installations. The work will be on a temporary but ongoing contract PAYE or Ltd (Outside IR 35) due to the sheer size of the plant and will run into years rather than months. You will need to be physically fit and able as there may be some climbing of ladders and ducking under pipes etc so if you have mobility problems this would not be suitable. You will not be required to do original design work this is purely a Technician role rather than a Design Engineer.
For Ltd company contractors this falls outside the scope of IR35.
42 hours per week.

Inventor/AutoCAD/Mechanical Design/Draughting/Mechanical/Piping/CAD Technician
You:
Proficient with AutoCAD 2D
Experienced in a wide range of drawing; i.e. Mechanical, Electrical, Piping
Able to produce Process and Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs)
Clean driving Licence (Max 3 points)
Team Player
Customer focussed
Not afraid of heights (safe working practises are adhered to rigidly)
