Our client, a successful and well-established envelope specialist, seek to appoint an experienced Multi-Disciplined Designer. Your responsibilities will include design and co-ordination of project work, draught and detailing of elevations and interfaces together with workshop drawings for production, assisting with tenders and collating and compiling specifications. You will need to clearly demonstrate the ability to manage project design process from tender through to completion and have the capability to work on numerous projects simultaneously. Our client are an award winning company having worked on highly known projects ranging from high rise building to shopping centres. You must be eligible to work in the UK for this role.
Design Engineer Role and Responsibilities Designer / Design / Curtain Wall / Facades / Cladding / Commercial Glazing/ Architectural
* Drafting BOM’s
* Offering assistance to customers by attending design meetings
* Producing designs for either Facades, Curtain Walling, Fire Screens, or Commercial Glazing
* Liaising with 3rd parties and other engineers simultaneously
* Experience in the Architectural industry
Facade Designer Skills Designer / Design / Curtain Wall / Facades / Cladding / Commercial Glazing/ Architectural
* Ideally previous experience in the design of either curtain walling, cladding or facades
* Knowledge of Rainscreen systems
* Knowledge of Window and curtain walling systems
* Knowledge of Fire screen systems and Facades
