We are currently working with a large International organisation in a search for a capable Data Analyst who can clean, collate and present Supply Chain Data using the below systems. This data is crucial to enable strategic decision making and driving efficiencies throughout the supply chain.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
– Provide regular reporting of Supply Chain Management (SCM) data across EMEA and APAC regions
– Responsible for the maintenance and reconciliation of SCM data within the in-house systems and databases
– Support SCM Manager with inventory forecasting through historical and trend analysis
– Continual review of existing processes for opportunities of improvement in efficiency and quality
– Implement data collection tools and data analytics strategies
– Provide support with the compilation of monthly and quarterly reports on inventory performance
– Use pattern recognition to filter and clean data in complex data sets by reviewing regularly
– Assist with SCM project requirements
– Regular review of supplier pricing and analysis of performance
– Supports the SCM Director in identifying and analysing key market trends and activities
Education, Experience & Ability Requirements
– Advanced MS Excel skills
– Exposure to or experience with using Power BI – with the ability to create dashboards being advantageous
– Working knowledge of MS Office tools and other relevant software packages e.g. an ERP such as SAP
– Working knowledge of relevant business management principles
– Excellent research, creative, and analytic skills
– High level of data visualisation and pattern recognition
– Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Experience presenting raw data in a comprehensible format
– Excellent attention to detail
– Flexibility and ability to evolve in a changing environment
– Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
