About the role

Part Time Credit Controller (25-30 hours per week. Hours can be spread over 3-5 days as required)
12 month FTC (Fixed Term Contract)
Salary £20-£25,000 Basic Salary (pro ratad)

Futures is a busy and growing recruitment agency that offers interim and permanent recruitment solutions across the public and private sectors.

Due to continued growth we are seeking a bright, enthusiastic Credit Controller to work with our Finance Director to take on and manage all the credit control functions of the business whilst liaising with the payroll and purchase ledger functions which, due to the nature of our business, are very closely related to this role.

Responsibilities of Credit Controller
To deal with complex sales ledger accounts and their reconciliations
Resolve invoicing queries
Raising & Processing Sales invoices
Matching payments against invoices/orders and allocating cash accordingly
Maintaining accounts and resolving queries on the Sage Line 50 accounts system
Use of 3rd party self-billing systems
Assist other finance functions as required

Experience required for Credit Control Manager
Strong sales ledger and credit control experience especially with complex sales ledger accounts.
Strong experience of Credit Control techniques and legal collection procedures.
Candidates should be confident individuals who are willing and able to learn new skills and adapt as necessary to meet the needs of this varied role.
High attention to detail, good organisational skills and a structured approach to your work.
Experience in payroll and/or purchase ledger would be beneficial due to the nature of our business.

There will be a high degree of interaction internally and externally so customer service is of paramount importance. You should enjoy engaging with people and helping to resolve any issues that arise.
