A Controls Engineer is urgently required with strong experience of working within both PLC and SCADA environments. You will be responsible for some design, development and installation of new control systems as required but the majority of your work will be on modifications and improvements to existing equipment. There will also be some hands-on maintenance as part of this role, performing reactive and planned maintenance and servicing a variety of industrial machinery.

* Play a key role in the design, development, installation, commissioning, configuration, improving and modification of SCADA/PLCs
* Work collaboratively within a well-established team of Maintenance Engineers
* Observe object-oriented design and development principles
* Coach and support Maintenance Engineers in gaining the necessary understanding/level of competence and experience in delivering control systems
Controls Engineer – Skills and Experience – Control Engineering / Automation / PLC / SCADA / Maintenance Engineer / HMI
* Experience in, or a willingness to, train and mentor maintenance engineers in controls engineering
* SCADA development experience using commercial SCADA packages
* Object Orientated Programming experience with a good knowledge of software architecture would be beneficial
