Reporting to the Deputy Head of Finance, you will be an essential member of the finance team, responsible for evaluating the performance of the business through the provision of key management information.
The key responsibilities of an Commercial Accountant include:
– Working to improve processes in commercial forecasting and reporting
– Completing accurate product costings for the development team, and monitoring profit margin as products go through development process
– Providing financial analysis to support contract negotiations
– Developing product profitability analyses, and working with commercial and development teams
A successful Commercial Accountant will be/have:
– Previous Experience in an accounting role, ideally in a manufacturing environment, however not essential
– Demonstrable commercial awareness
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Able to work with colleagues at all levels
– Qualified or Part Qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
