** 4 DAY WEEK**
We are currently recruiting a CNC Turner for our client in Huddersfield, we’re looking for an experienced person who can programme/set and operate a range of differing machines. The work will consist of low batch quantities and is on a day shift basis over Monday-Thursday and Friday is an overtime day and paid as such.
Responsibilities:
– Working from engineering drawings, set up, programme and operate a range of CNC Lathes
– Tooling selection
– Inspect 1st off to ensure compliance to drawing
– Report any machine faults
– Clean down
Skills education and experience:
– Experienced CNC Turner
– Able to programme using Fanuc as a minimum
– Apprentice-trained or Time-Served.in the trade
– Able to read complex engineering drawings
– Able to use a range of measuring instruments
– Flexible
– Good eye for detail
