Our client, a successful and well-established building envelope specialist, they are undertaking a long programme of cladding replacement post-Grenfell and seek to appoint 2 experienced Rainscreen Cladding Designers.
Working on a project basis (only one project to concentrate on at a time) you will be responsible for cladding replacement 90% of which is on high-rise buildings.
While it would be preferable that you lived within commuting distance of Sheffield the company will consider working from home with office attendance once a week for those who live further away.
Responsibilities:
– Scheduling of work from start to completion
– Procurement
– Project management from kick-off to handover
– Completion of all required documentation
– Site surveys
Skills and experience:
– 5 years of previous experience in the design of cladding or facades
– Knowledge of Rainscreen cladding systems
– Knowledge of Window and curtain walling systems
– Knowledge of Fire screen systems
