About the role


I am working with a super-fast growing start-up business within the health and wellness channel business , they have taken the market by storm and are trusted and used by 50+ pro sports teams, including Liverpool FC, Arsenal, Watford and Leeds UTD. As well as having strong listings with the likes of; Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Amazon, Ocado and Boots.

Their product range includes a comprehensive formulation suitable for vegan and full or organic products as well as sustainable packaging.

Having recently secured a multi-million-pound investment they are expanding within their commercial team and hiring for 5 roles within the business!

As Channel Manager you will lead both Grocery and High Street channels, including the likes of; Sainsbury’s, Ocado, Holland & Barrett, WH Smith and Boots. You will strategy build and driving new business with target customers; Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Waitrose, Superdrug, Harrods and Selfridges etc.

You will then look to hire a Junior NAM to focus on the High Street channel once it is more established which also offers the opportunity for line management.

Key Accountabilities & KPIs
Developing a customer and channel strategy.
Owning and delivering revenue and gross margin targets.
Negotiating and executing best in class JBPs.
Business planning, forecasting, analysis, and performance tracking.
Growing existing accounts and seeking new business opportunities that align with our wider strategy.
Building a strong networkto actively learn from other brands and ensure we are top of mind
with our customers.
Being an expert of your customer/channel and communicating key category insights back to the business to
ensure we stay ahead of the game.

Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of account management experience.
Commercial and analytical mindset with a strong track record of achieving results.
Ability to identify and win new opportunities with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm.
Natural ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally.
Strong negotiator and influencer.
Detail oriented, able to ruthlessly prioritise and highly organised.

This is a stepping stone role to Head of Trade Marketing or more general senior marketing roles, recruiting a team to work alongside you with a view to be part of the senior leadership team to make integral decisions for the growth of the business.

Super flexible and autonomous working environment with the possibility for periods of overseas remote working.
