The Role:
Oversee the works order process, capturing all necessary data and ensuring availability of parts/products to fulfil sales orders.
Support the operational function and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations.
Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets.
Analyse data to help maintain inventory levels and to inform buying decisions
Assist with forecasting to help maintain inventory levels.

Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and activities that affect the ability to deliver to our customers.
Expedite overdue purchase orders and work towards improving on supplier lead times.
Aid the company’s goals by assisting in meeting the Company’s purchasing commitments in order to fulfil sales demand
Respond to purchasing enquiries in a timely manner.

Improve and manage the supplier returns procedure alongside the Quality team.
Research new suppliers and actively support dual sourcing supplier activity.
Develop and maintain excellent customer and supplier relationships and continually promote the Company values and reputation.
Develop and maintain a supplier score card based on lead times, delivery, price and quality.

Control and authorise all purchase orders and update supplier price increases within Sage 200.
Contribute to the Company’s goals by assisting in meeting the Company’s purchasing commitments in order to fulfil sales demand
