We want to speak with experienced Buyers who are looking to join a forward-thinking packaging manufacturer in their Purchasing/Supply Chain team!
In this role, you will be supporting the production and manufacturing facility as well as the Supply Chain Manager with hands-on, sustainable purchasing.
Ideally, you will have:
– A background in a fast-paced Retail or Manufacturing environment
– Previous experience in sourcing direct materials and components (metals, polymers, plastics, consumables, MRO, etc.) for production
– Able to work in a time-sensitive operation ensuring OTIF delivery to meet production requirements
– Strong supplier relationship management – interacting and negotiating with suppliers
– A ‘can-do’ attitude who works well under pressure
– A team player who can deliver
